Conducted by SICPA America do Sul Agro samplers, authorized by RENASEM, the External Quality Verification (EQV) consists of periodic unscheduled visits to companies participating in the Program, resellers and consumers, with the objective of collecting samples protected by Semente Legal®. One copy is sent to an accredited laboratory for analysis, another to the producer and a third copy to SICPA America do Sul Agro.
At the end of the sampling, a technical bulletin is issued with the result of the analysis, which will be compared with the Term of Conformity – a document required by law for the sale of seeds. The result will be recorded on the platform.
The App is Semente Legal’s® main user communication tool. In it, it is possible to verify the products by reading the security labels and seals, based on data on quality and origin, either by self-declared information by the manufacturer or by the information measured by the Program.
The app also contains a module for complaints, a channel that allows the user to report any evidence of piracy or doubts about the quality and origin of products.
Our tool allows us to measure the Producer’s adherence to the Semente Legal®. protocol. The calculation considers, in addition to the own algorithms, the audits carried out in the company for application of the checklist, use of the platform, EQV results and the end customer’s perception of the products (complaints via app).
TrustScore® carries a high added value, as it can directly influence the final user’s purchase decision and the company’s reputation in the agricultural sector.
Conducted at the SPU (Seed Processing Units), the audits are carried out by SICPA America do Sul Agro employees through a checklist based on legislation and mandatory compliance standards that consider, for example, labor, environmental and occupational safety issues, in addition to others on rules of good manufacturing practices, seeking the conformity of processes and products within the standards desired by the sector.
